Curriculum Vitae
Anne Gans was born in Melbourne, Australia. After doing a BA in Modern Languages with Honours at Monash University, Melbourne, she went on to do an MA in German Studies and a PGCE in TEFL, also at Monash, and a Diploma of Education at Murdoch University, Perth. She has taught language practice courses in the English Studies Department of Leibniz Universität Hannover since 2001 and has been the head of Sprachpraxis since it was made a separate subsection in 2009. Previously she has also taught at Monash University, the Victorian School of Languages (Melbourne), VHS Hannover and the International School Hannover. In her free time, she enjoys reading, sewing, doing yoga and spending time with her family.
