Curriculum Vitae
Jill Schneller was born in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed a BA in English at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. During her junior year, she was an exchange student at the University of Sussex, Brighton, England. After graduation, she moved to Germany and continued her studies at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where she completed her MA in American Studies. In 1999, she joined the staff of the English Department, Leibniz Universität Hannover, as a lecturer and has taught there ever since. In addition to teaching, she has carried out classroom research in the fields of Multiliteracies, student writing, and web-based learning. In her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her family.

· Supervision of and guidance regarding entrance requirements (“Sprachnachweis”)
· Accreditation of native speakers and students who have studied in English-speaking countries
